Point-of-care testing
Glucose is an important indicator of glucose metabolism disorders and islet cell tumor. We developed a low cost and portable testing device to monitor glucose level in blood. Our method simplified the detection process by encapsulation colormetric detection assay within a 3D gel matrix to enable simultaneous blood filtration and detection.
